Bessemer Trust Makes Top Hire For Philanthropy Advisory Services

Bessemer Trust has appointed Paul Connolly as principal and director of philanthropic advisory services.

Connolly will direct the philanthropic advisory services department while helping clients develop and pursue their philanthropic interests, define their grant-making strategies and achieve their social impact goals.

Connolly was latterly chief client services officer and a senior partner at TCC Group, where he oversaw the firm’s non-profit and philanthropy practices. He also served on the firm’s board of directors. Previously, he was associate director of Nonprofit Facilities Fund.

In his new role at Bessemer, he reports to James Kronenberg, managing director and chief fiduciary counsel.

Founded in 1907, Bessemer Trust is a privately-owned wealth and investment management firm that focuses on ultra high net worth families and their foundations and endowments. The firm oversees $91 billion for some 2,200 clients.
